Vision

Launching from our home base in Greenville, SC, we are seeking to press into the frontier of missions by supporting church planting throughout our country and world, especially in the world’s hardest-to-reach places.

Why this particular vision?

We want to focus on the world’s hardest-to-reach places precisely because they’re unreached. Most missions efforts are focused on reaching people who are more accessible or even more open to the Gospel. Our spirit of “every avenue” extends outward from Greenville to the world, and to follow that spirit means to pursue the global avenues few others are.

In missions terms, an “unreached people group” is a people group among which there is no indigenous community  of believing Christians with adequate numbers and resources to evangelize this people group  without outside assistance. An “unengaged group” is an unreached people group in which no known active onsite church planting is occurring.

Most of these peoples live within the 10/40 window, between 10 and 40 degrees north latitude, covering North Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Countries with the greatest number of unreached people groups include India, China, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Nepal.

How We Get There

1. We’ll discover, vet, and PARTNER with church planters who are committed to planting a church that, by God’s grace, will go on to plant other churches.

2. We’ll then enter a season of PREPARATION where we share life together locally with the church planter, and assemble a core group of members who plan to participate in the life of the plant. Domestically, participating means moving with the plant. Internationally, it looks like intentional community at a distance, plus in-person visits.

3. We’ll shepherd the new church through its actual PLANTING, sharing money, guidance, and prayer toward the unique challenges of starting a new church.

4. We’ll then help to NUTURE the church by continuing to offer biblical and theological training, and by bringing the love of Jesus in person, often through business as mission.

5. And finally, we’ll assist the church intentionally as it PREPARES TO TRANSPLANT itself into its own new church plant, by creating regular, intentional times to listen, pray, and seek God’s  wisdom and leading together.

The Goals That Move Us Forward

Long-term, and by God’s grace, we long to support a church plant in every hard-to-reach area in  the world, even if that takes us generations of pursuit. God helping us, we’d love to be supporting 10 church plants by the end of 2025.
