DOWNTOWN PRESBYTERIAN
PURSUING THE HEART OF GREENVILLE, SC

SPRING 2008!

Take this city
A city should be shining on a hill
Take this city if it be your will
What no man can own, no man can take
Take this heart and make it break

~ U2, "Yahweh"

In our worship services this spring, we will continue our study of the New Testament book of "Acts," in which we see the good news of Jesus Christ going into an increasingly interconnected and urbanized world - a world with both staunch traditionalism and blended spiritualities.  (Does this sound familiar?)

We had a GREAT sunrise service on Easter morning at the Wyche Pavilion with Second Presbyterian. (Even the Reedy River geese joined in.)
We currently meet for worship at 5pm on Sundays in the sanctuary of Pendleton Street Baptist Church, 1100 South Main Street ("422 Pendleton Street" if you're using a computer map service).  We are currently renovating 435 W. Washington St. to become our new church facility!  (If you'd like to see some pics, see our photo gallery.)

Hanging up the (beautifully refinished) old door in our new foyer.

Thanks for visiting our website.  We want to be here for the convinced and the unconvinced in the heart of Greenville
