Our mission

We champion the good news of Jesus, share life in small groups and find avenues of downtown to love.

Our church exists to be the body of Christ in downtown Greenville. By worshiping downtown, we strive to meet and engage those who live and work in the area with the gospel, as well as to pray for this unique portion of the Upstate.

We desire that visitors with little or no church background would find our worship services respectful of them and engaged with the real world, while visitors and members from churched backgrounds would also find our services reverent, substantive and beneficial.

Identified as a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), we experience accountability at both a regional level (presbytery) and a national level (general assembly).

Though the processes of learning and growing are lifelong, we are rooted in our beliefs, not only through the ancient creeds, but also through our doctrinal commitment to the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms.

our worship

Join us in praise.

"Praise the LORD! How good to sing praises to our God! How delightful and how fitting!" -Psalm 147:2

Our Sunday morning worship services are the primary gatherings of DPC. Regular worship is vital to the life of a follower of Christ, and is also a good introduction for someone exploring the claims of Christianity. Our services are rooted in biblical and historic patterns and practices, while being welcoming to the newcomer. We hope worship will help Christians grow in their faith, as well as help skeptics gain a better understanding of the gospel, or good news, of Jesus Christ.
