What If I'm Bringing a Child?

If you have a child or children with you, we want you to know that your child is cared for and accessible during your time with us.   Our Children's Coordinator is Jeanne Johnson, who may be reached at jeannejohnson1216@gmail.com.

During the worship service, preschool-aged children may be dismissed for "Children's Church."  We do ask that you register each of your children; you may do so by going to the "Children's Church Registration" tab. If your child/children is attending Children's Church, below are some instructions for exiting and returning to the sanctuary:
  • Exiting the sanctuary - Children will exit from the back door of the sanctuary only. If you need to accompany your child out of the sanctuary please use the back door as well. The children will quietly line up in the hallway, and a volunteer will walk them to the classroom.
  • Returning to the sanctuary - You may pick up your child in the room during communion (parents only, please do not send an older sibling) or you can wait for your child to return to you in the sanctuary – we are working to avoid children being picked up in the foyer while we are trying to get everyone safely back to the sanctuary.

If you have a child up to 3 years old, here's where to go:

Enter our foyer through the glass and steel doors right off the parking lot, and bear to your right.  Our nursery and education space is beyond the big, wooden door.

Once you do, you'll find volunteers waiting to help you find the right place for your child.  If you have any questions, just ask!
